The right people are the key…
Independent Life staff are skilled, caring, friendly, and reliable people who love the work that they do. Most importantly, they have integrity and are absolutely committed to helping you maintain your independence and the way of life that you love.

All Independent Life employees undergo thorough reference and police checks as a mandatory condition of employment, and our selective recruitment processes ensure that only people who share Independent Life’s philosophy and values become part of our team. We provide multi-phased training and on-going professional development so that our staff are equipped to consistently provide you with the highest standard of care and assistance. As the employer, Independent Life takes responsibility for all aspects of staff employment such as insurance, workers compensation, superannuation, scheduling and ongoing staff training.

Being part of a family network of care…
We understand the pressures families can face trying to meet the care needs of a loved one and the sense of responsibility attached to finding the right people to care for them. Whether we’re providing a little support to give primary carers a break or more extensive care in situations where family aren’t able to provide any direct care themselves, we regard it as a privilege to become part of a family’s network of support. Our staff are skilled at working collaboratively and sensitively in situations where there are multiple people involved in a person’s care.
